Nargis rejoins showbiz after a four-year interval
LAHORE: Film star Nargis will perform in a drama in Shalimar Theatre from October 30, after reaching an agreement with stage drama producer Malik Tariq. Nargis has rejoined showbiz after an interval of four years.
Tariq told reporters on Tuesday, that film star Nargis was very popular on stage and her name was sufficient to bring success to a stage drama. Nargis intends to sign two films after the end of stage drama, he said.
She also want to reopen her own production house for making feature films.Nargis is a Pakistani film actress and a stage dancer. On October 24, 2012, she announced her retirement from the film industry to become an Islamic cleric.
