Carrie Underwood to headline UK’s 2016 Country to Country Fest
Underwood makes her return to Country to Country after playing the inaugural C2C event at London's O2 Arena in March 2013, Rolling Stone reports. The tour news arrives on the heels of last month's announcement of her new album 'Storyteller', set to be released October 23 on Arista Nashville/19 Recordings. "Smoke Break," the record's lead single, recently set an all-time record for first-week radio adds upon its release, and Underwood has hinted at an international tour in support of Storyteller's release. One of the biggest country music events outside of America, Country to Country will once again be held at London's O2 Arena and Dublin's 3Arena, with an additional third show taking place at Glasgow's Clyde Auditorium. The festival will take place over three consecutive days, running from March 11-13. The rest of Country to Country's three-day line-up will be unveiled during a C2C Launch Party at Brooklyn Bowl on October 6.
