‘Jawani Phir Nahi Aani’ earns Rs 20m at the box office
LAHORE: Pakistani comedy film 'Jawani Phir Nahi Aani' (JPNA) featuring Pakistan's film and TV industry big names, earned Rs 20 million at the box office according to Box Office Asia reports.The film also received positive reviews by critics.

According to the Box Office Asia website, which predicts and announces regularly on films earning business on box office, it was stated along with 'JPNA', four films had opened at the box office and after the release 'JPNA; has collected a record breaking number of Rs 20 million.
Early reports about the film indicated it crossed the Rs 15 million but on the first two days after the film screened at cinemas, it earned Rs 20 million owing to the support assisted by cinema's night shows. The houseful late night shows actually helped 'JPNA' break previous records.
The Box Office Asia website further stated the morning shows gained little attraction from people across the country but the late night shows almost went house full.
Royal Palm Golf & Country Club Super Cinema Media Affairs & Business Development Manager Waryam Iqbal told Daily Times that on Eid, two Pakistani films released and were screened but 'JPNA' took the lead and earned more profit over the other, 'Halla Gulla'.
He said, "Troika of good production of Pakistan films and media support of local industry and raised standards of cinemas providing comfort zone to the viewers is the reason of prevailing success stories of Pakistani movies, which are gaining support locally and earning profit."
The story of 'Jawani Phir Nahi Aani' revolves around three best friends who are depressed about their lives owing to their wives and desperately want a breath of fresh air to live. In the wake of their 'miserable' scenario, Saeed, a US-based lawyer returns to Pakistan to add some masala in his friends' lives.Also, in the film, veteran film actor Javed Sheikh will be seen as Mehboob Khan while Bushra Ansari and Ismail Tara are also in the film.
